The Moon Township Police Department is now taking requests from our residents for Home Alone Monitoring.

Any citizen in need may contact us for this service. We are able to set up a daily monitoring by means of Swiftreach.

The system will automatically telephone the person once or twice a day depending on their needs. The person in need will receive this message: “This is the Moon Township Police Department. If you are okay, press 1; if you are not okay, press 2.” If the person presses number 2 or fails to press any number, the emergency contact will be called.

Emergency contacts may be another family member, friend, neighbor, etc. In some cases where no family is available, the police may be used as the emergency contact by permission of the Chief of Police.
