Administrative Assistant Police Department
The Township of Moon is accepting applications for the full-time position of Administrative Assistant with the Police Department. Duties include providing administrative support including clerical, secretarial and administrative duties in support of the police department and staff and being familiar with Microsoft Office. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma with a minimum of five years’ experience as an administrative assistant/clerical or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates effective communication skills, computer fluency, accurate record keeping, and a strong commitment to public service. The successful candidate will be able to work with diplomacy and tact when dealing with the public and when performing their duties. They must be trusted with confidential information and able to pass a background investigation to be vetted to work in a police department environment.
